Gosh, it’s been some time that this project has been waiting to be uploaded to my blog!
I made this frame for my Dad for Father’s Day this year from the kids. It’s tough to get something for a person who wants nothing more than a quiet Sunday watching football or gardening. My parents have no wants and as much as it’s an endearing trait…it’s TOUGH!!
I set out with a photo of my two delicious baby loves, Little Miss Magic and Master Brendan…although he is become “Trouble” in our house as of late. I happened to catch this photo while they were playing in his crib one morning as they often do and to my surprise….they are BOTH looking AND smiling. Any parent knows that it’s a rarity to get something like that, I just had to share!
I used “thickers” an colored them with Copics for the sentiment “WE LOVE YOU PAPA”, some ribbon I had left over from the holidays and some pretty paper I picked up in Virginia awhile back. I then punched out two of the embellishments on the paper then popped them up and added “Amuse Creative Candy” stickers. Papa loved it and that makes me happy!!

Thanks for stopping by, Cheers!

My Mom recently asked me to make a card for her dear dear friend Patti, she is like an Aunt to me. You know those people who walk into your life that are somehow instant family, that’s her! My Mom and her have been friends for so very long, they have been there for each other in so many ways. When I found out it was the 6-0 I knew I had to go with something “right up Patti’s alley”!
She is a fun loving, caring, talkative, intelligent, kind and hysterical lady!!! So when I set out to make this, I took out a vintage postcard I bought in Gruene, TX this past March while visiting one of my dear friends. I think the sentiment “Lady I don’t see nothing wrong with your rear end” is hysterical and my Mom loved it too. To add something more I added a Amuse Creative Candy button over the “60″ I made in PS, an embossed “kiss” stamp on the inner left corner and matching designer paper, then lined the envelope with a paper bag from a local store.
My Mom headed out to Chicago to surprise Patti at her 60th Birthday Blast and from what I hear that’s just what they had! It’s amazing to have friends in your life that are more like your family….I have been blessed myself!
Happy 60th Birthday Patti!!! You are loved and cherished in so many ways, I hope you know that!!!

Okay, so here I am posting by the skin of my teeth for the most recent Tiddly Inks Challenge “Windows”.
I lost my first upload of this project, argh! Thankfully though I noticed it before it was too late! I seriously love digital images, there are so many things to do with them. You can resize them to fit into the tiniest of places and I did just that!
I made my project for “windows” a water globe….I thought this would be fun to try and although it was a little tasking trying to get the right size….I am happy with it. I will be trying more of these in the future.
Sorry for the quickest post….but I am on a time crunch to get this in before deadline.
Thanks for stopping by, Cheers!

So the ladies over at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog gave us TWO weeks to do their current challenge….it did not take me two weeks to do this, but I am glad we had extra time….I needed it. The Summer seems to get so busy and by the time the kids are in bed….all I can think about is going to bed myself or hanging with my hubby on the couch.
I had originally decided I was going to do a cute little princess, but then I fell in love with the bat ribbon and knew I had to make a batty halloweeny princess. To be sure it was princess style…I added a sentiment like any princess would use….”Trick or Treat…But I won’t smell your feet!” I am laughing at myself…we can do that, right?!?!
I had an applesauce jar sitting on my craft desk…as soon as I sat down I cleaned it up and then altered it. I wanted to add candy corn but sadly I could not find it out on our adventures this am. I did though put all the bling a princess could want(we are doing a mommy and daughter craft soon…lots o’bling)….hope you like it!!

Thanks for stopping by today, Cheers!

I have finally got my printer back!!! I was so happy!!! So happy, I printed four of the same image!! Here is my creation for Mo’s Christmas in July Challenge….

This is Christmas at our house now, our curly haired Hannah, baby Brendan and the fabulous Bailey Biddle Beagle!
I instantly fell in love with this image from Mo…it’s so perfect!! I colored each image with my Copics, then mounted them on the DP and Mod Podged the whole thing to a tile to make a coaster. I then spent the next hour spraying sealer on them in 15minute intervals….boo is that stuff stinky!!!!! Worth all the effort though! I already know the perfect people to give these coasters to!
Hope you enjoy!!!

I bought this stamp some time ago at Paper Source because well…I love babies, Summer and the beach….I am also amused by their little bathing suits too!!
I had only a few minutes while the kiddos were playing behind me to do this, literally minutes! I wanted to get my craft on and knew I could do something simple yet sweet with this stamp.
I took out a A9 Sunshine flat card, left over baby blue Bassil cardstock, Paper Trey white cardstock, London Fog ink pad and started out….I added the brown paper ribbon then distressed it a bit as well as the card trim for a little somethin’.
For a spare few minutes…I think it turned out pretty simple and sweet….what do ya think??

Next time I am going to take some color to those gorgeous babes, but for now they are cute just in gray!
Have a great day everyone!!
Thanks for stopping by!

My printer issues are still unresolved, I am hoping my hubby can find time soon to fix it. I have been missing my Tiddly Inks and Mo’s Challenges so much!! I am missing out on the Blog Hop with the talented ladies over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog this week….ARGH!
Okay so enough of poor me…I have some a creation to share! I have had these A to Z cards in my “to do” box for a very long time. I finally ordered my laminating sheets for my Xyron 510 and got to work!
Here’s how they turned out…I plan on making a bunch more for gifts and for an upcoming craft fair!

I can’t wait to give this to my little guy….who puts everything in his mouth! The tags and laminated pages are sure to hold up to my Chubba Bubba’s chomping!!
Hope you are all having a fabulous day!!
I will be back soon with more to share….and hopefully with some digi stuff too!
Cheers,
Kristyn

Today I am sharing my creation for the “Anything Goes” challenge over on Mo’s Challenge Blog. I did not have a moment last week to play along….which is a bummer bc I try to play along every week….the ladies over there are all so inspiring….DT and the fellow challengers! So this week I decided to incorporate the last two challenges for this card. I really had a lot of fun making my first easel card so I did it again….love these cards!!!!

I love Bella and Bronte, they are just so sweet! I used my Cuttlebug for embossing, paper ribbon, bling, copics and some die cut trimmings I have had lying around.
If you have not gone over to see the other cards entered this week, you must! The DT has REALLY inspired everyone to have fun and be super creative!!!! So hop on over HERE…..and have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by, Cheers!!

That’s what babies are….just pure HEAVEN! I am so delighted that one of my dearest friends who happens to be my neighbor is expecting with her fabulous husband this Winter!!
They are an amazing couple and we are just so very very happy for them. It will be a joy to welcome the new baby….although our little lady is now asking where my baby is….oy!
Here is the card I made for them to say Congrats, I am also playing along in Tiddly Inks Challenge #10 Embellishments (Lace and Buttons) this week with my creation. I used the Lullaby image, Night cardstock, Blush Embossing powder, button stamp, Night Sky Ink, Congratulations Stamp and “Old Lace” Clear paper. I kept it simple and sweet….

Have a wonderful evening! Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers!
