Happy Saturday Everyone!! Boy am I glad to be back this Saturday, last Saturday my poor little Hannah was really sick and I just could not get around to craft at all. So here I am back on this fine Saturday to share my Challenge creation. I have to say, when I saw the challenge details I was at a complete loss for what to do.

“Your challenge for this week is to create a card/paper craft project that has an Asian flair/style to it.

You can use any RF image”

I finally got some inspiration from the paper I used from a dear friend. Once I saw the paper, I knew what Robyn’s Fetish image I would use.

Here is my creation titled “Hero”(which is what the Japanese symbol means), this little dragon is daydreaming about his Hero in hopes some day he too will be as wonderous and strong as him. This reminds me of what my little guy will think of his Daddy as he gets older.

I heat embossed the detail on both Dragons for some added texture. I used my Versamark pen and filled in the detail and then tediously filled with gold embossing powder, I carved them both out and then matted them on black paper. I used a piece of random card stock in my paper cart for the background and some black Bazzill paper for the base.

This is not a card you can mail because the big guy is “flying” off the paper, but it’s the type of card that you would want to hand deliver to your Hero! I have a few in my life and I know you all do too!!

This Challenge was a tough one for me, but I think I got it done….what do you think?? Try it out, I can’t wait to see everyone’s creations!! Be sure to stop by the other ladies sites for their awesome Asian inspired creations!
