Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge #17

Today I am doing my first Challenge for Mo’s Digital Pencil, it’s their 17th challenge today. I seriously just found this site and I fell in LOVE with the images. It is so up my alley, I love love love her images!
The Challenge which is hosted monthly by a different member of their Design Team, this month is Dawn:
Dawn’s first challenge this month is all about “wood” or “would” (as in ‘would’ you be mine?) So, make a card or 3-D project and incorporate ‘wood’ or ‘would’, or perhaps use ‘faux wood’ in your project.
As soon as I saw this, I knew what I wanted to do! I downloaded a ton of images last week and one struck me as perfect for my 4 year old nephew William. He started karate class a couple of months ago and he recently became a Yellow Belt, so I wanted to make him something special.
Here he is with his Sensei after receiving his belt, he is so proud and so am I!!
So for the Challenge I decide to make a door sign for his room. I think it kinda looks like him and he most likely could break wood with his feet!
I used cardstock that has texture just like wood to make the frame and broken wood. I colored him in with Copics and the lettering is with my SU! Always Artichoke marker. I am hoping he loves it! Thanks for stopping by today!!

I have two 9 yo grandchildren who are purple and blue belts right now. Wondeful activity and training. Oh by the way your card is perfect, thanks for playing the MO’s Challenge!!!
