Welcome John Eoin, my Junior Artist
January 21st, 2010Over the Holidays, my nephew John was asked to join me here at Good Gravy Crafts. He is an amazingly talented, sweet, smart, thoughtful and dedicated little guy. He is my pal when it comes to crafts and such, so it was time to ask him to join me.
For his first project as a Junior Artist he made two sets of Christmas cards to be donated to his school craft fair. I wanted to donate something to be included in a raffle and thought if it’s his school, well then why not have him help! I set him up with pre-scored cards and sentiments from Paper Source and gave him some direction. I told him he could place the “bling” wherever and use whatever sentiments he wanted. He went right to work and took it very seriously, as he should…this is crafting after all!
I am so proud of my Pal John Eoin(pronounced Owen, it’s the Gaelic spelling), welcome John…great job!

Hi Kristyn,
Thank you for passing along your site! Super cute work you’ve done!!!
Forgive me for misleading you, I linked to the clothespin idea not from Be Different Act Normal, but from UCreate @: http://kari-youcanmakeit.blogspot.com/2010/01/hang-out-valentine.html
Happy Crafting!

What a cute young man. Nice smile! He must be a very good apprentice. I may have to hire him to make a few cards for me. Can I afford him?
