Another creation for the Sketch Challenge over at DP2!
Like I said, I am without much do to while my patient sleeps….so I craft. I printed out Bella and Bronte “Makin’ Cards” because this is pretty much me with my MIL’s Teacup Maltese beside me!

I used leftover paper again and some buttons she had lying around the house from years ago!! I had so much fun coloring them in, even if it was not with my beloved Copics and SU! Markers!!
Hope you like my creation, it was so fun to join the ladies at Mo’s Challenge Blog this week!
Cheers!!

Hey Everyone!!
Greetings from Virginia! I am still here helping out my Mother-In-Law while she recoups from surgery. I have to say I really miss home…I so badly want to snuggle up with my family and kiss those sweet babies of mine! My hubby is home with both the kids and any time we talk he always gives me updates on what is happening. It melts my heart to hear Hannah say, “I loouuuve you Mumma”, I know you all out there know how it feels! To be away from home means I am away from my hubby, kids, Bailey dog, friends, family and my craft desk!!!
Luckily for me my Mother-In-Law had some…and I mean some supplies to get me through. I saw the Challenge this morning when I got up and was excited to get started. When you don’t have kids around and a sleepy patient there is not much else to do but read, craft and craft!!!
This week it is a sketch challenge by Dawn B.

Dawn has been hosting this month and I must say I have enjoyed doing all of the Challenges. They are honoring one lucky crafter a guest spot on their Challenge Blog for the month of March. In order to qualify you must do all of the challenges. Well, I had to do this one, because I would LOVE to join those fabulous ladies! I have very limited craft supplies so I did what I could with what I had.

I used everything she had leftover from a scrapbook she made for Hannah’s first year except Mo’s image. I made the paper flowers and colored my image using Crayola colored pencils….if you love to craft…you find a way. I hope you like my creation….it’s actually now going to go into Hannah’s 2nd year scrapbook! Here’s to Spring arriving early….maybe????
Thanks for dropping in!!
Cheers!

Hey there everyone!! I wanted to share my second creation for the 19th Challenge over on Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge Blog with you. It is Clean n Simple this week and I was so excited that I went ahead and made two!!
As I mentioned before we were in Maine all last week and I am in Virginia this week to help out my Mother-In-Law so clean and simple was perfect!
I wanted to make a Thank You for our friend’s Aunt and Uncle who hosted us in Maine. They have the most amazing farmhouse up in Maine and anytime we have a chance to visit…we jump in the car and head North! This past visit Hannah was trying out the horses, Pete and Apache. She was shaking on the first day and by the time we left she was within in 3 feet of them. They are GINORMOUS animals, I can’t blame her for being nervous….but so proud that she got up close! This Summer I am hoping she will want to ride them. Until then I can picture this little girl being Hannah with one of the horses up at Tucker Farm.

I love this “Shire” image!! I scored the bottom and hand wrote “Thank You”….I love this little girl and I had so much fun creating…as always with Mo’s images!
Have a great day!!
Cheers!!

Okay so here I am AGAIN….with a creation for the fantastic digi images from Mo Manning! This weeks challenge was a great one for me…the timing could not have been more perfect! We were in Maine on vacation until yesterday with friends and I am now off to Virginia to help my Mother-In-Law while she has surgery. My hubby is home with the kiddos, he is a super Dad but I will miss them terribly!!! I have a vision of my little guy looking like this at some point either by the hands of little Hannah or Daddy having a tough morning….

When I get home, I will let you know how it went!!! Sniffle Sniffle….missing my babies!!!
By the way….my Chubba Bubba wears cloth diapers so look a bit closer…this little guy is too!!!

Hey Howdy Hey Everyone!! Happy Saturday to you all!! I am so excited to share my creation with you this week….it was a tough one for me, I had to think out of the box when I saw the details. I had to think, think and think so more!! I re-did my card twice before I was satisfied with the outcome!
This weeks challenge is:
- Pleated ribbon/paper
- Fibers (think twine, yarn, cording, etc)
- 3-D effect (think pop dots, Souffle pens, glaze, etc)
- You can use any RF image
I made this card for a dear sweet friend of mine who always pokes fun at me for my outlook on the dramatic side of girls!! Ha!
I had a rough time figuring out the paper pleating as I have never actually done it. Now that I know how to do it, it will not be my last time!!! It was so much fun to play around and use the challenge details. Here is what I came up with….

I used the shoe image from Robyn’s store, glued it up and covered it with Ultrafine silver glitter, colored in the flower with a pink Sakura gel pen and a rhinestone for the center. I used a leftover heart from my nephews Valentine’s cards, Martha Stewart baker’s twine, random ribbon and the same paper for the pleating for the top and bottom….just used the opposite sides.
I really enjoyed this challenge and look forward to the next one! Be sure to visit us on the Challenge Blog weekly for more!!
Thanks for stopping by….have a great weekend!
Cheers!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Welcome to Robyn’s Fetish Blog Hop….if you came over from Jeanette’s blog you are on the right track. If you just so happen to pop in here first….check her out and then hop hop hop!
It’s a Saturday Challenge and a new release day!! I was so excited to see what new image I would get to work with. Our fabulous Design Team Coordinator sent me Fishing Frank! I think he is so cute….but honestly he was just a LITTLE too clean for me. Whenever I see a bucket of worms, I think ewwwwww gross but that is because I am a girl! I was not always that way though, I am sure if you ask my Mom or Dad!
With the new release came the challenge as well so let me lay down the law now….haha…just kidding…here are the rules to our Saturday Challenge this week!
1. This is a color challenge:
- royal blue
- light blue
- black
- white
- grey/silver
2. Create any project.
- If you use a Robyn’s Fetish Image AND post about it on your blog you will be entered TWICE into the drawing to win 3 of Robyn’s Images of your choosing PLUS a special surprise!!!
3. You MUST leave a comment on each team members blogs in order to be eligible to be entered into the challenge.
4. Lastly, in order to be entered into the drawing to win, please let us know of one thing that you would like to see in the Shoppe at Robyn’s Fetish.
- Leave this information in the comments section in the challenge blog.
Easy enough to win 3 free images right?
Okay so here is my card, hope it sends you some inspiration!

I had so much fun dirtying him up!! I can just see my little guy in a few years coming in from the backyard with our pup looking like this!! If you’re not “digging” the filthy Frank….no worries….he’s sparkly clean for the release!!

Remember I mentioned our FABULOUS Design Team Coordinator….well check out her blog next for the hop, she will have a new release image for you! She is always an inspiration to me….on paper and in life itself!!
Thanks for hopping in!!! Happy Saturday!!!
Cheers!

Hey everyone! Last week I entered the challenge over on Mo’s Digital Pencil Too Challenge Blog and this week I am too. I love her images, one of the characters “Bella” reminds me of my Hannah. So when I saw the challenge this week I knew I wanted to make!
The Challenge was to use red, pink, white and add a heart to a card or 3-D project. I chose a card so I can easily slip it into her second year scrapbook. So without further ado….

I put so many views of the card because there is so much detail to it that I wanted to share. From the left is the pink ribbon with a flair pin for the center the paper is red and white polka dot, then shimmer xo paper and the card base is pink Bazzill paper. I used my copics and SU! markers to color in Bella, I then used a white gel pen for the polka dots on her shirt and boot. For her tutu, I added Pixie Dust Shimmerz and then heat embossed with clear powder. For Bronte the dog I used Silver Bells Shimmerz and a red SU! marker for his color. The hearts were placed on individually with precision….especially the one that landed on Bronte’s nose! I used a 3-D sticker for the sentiment, I thought it was perfect for her!
To get a little idea of my inspiration here is my little lady:

Hope you enjoyed my card! Have a fantastic day!! Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers!

Can you believe it, another Wednesday is here and another freebie for all of you!! This week we are giving away Candy Glamour Girl, she was the perfect freebie for me this week! I am blessed with many wonderful girlfriends, they are all so special to me…this week I am saying thanks to one of them, Rita. My Rita(I nicknamed her that a long time ago), her real name is Eileen always comes to spend the night with me when my hubby is traveling for work. She and I recently had a night in just laughing, having dinner and some wine. What I love about her is that I need no makeup, fancy clothes or even brushed hair for her to show up! I know….most of my friends would accept me this way as well….but this past sleepover was a riot….because I was COVERED in spit up, food and at one point poop….YUP! Poop!
So here is my card for my friend Rita to say “Thanks” for loving me as I am and always being there for me!!!

I colored Candy in with my SU! Markers, Sakura Gel and Glitter Pens and I used my White Gel pen to make some polka dots. I went over the makeup and rollers with Crystal Affects for some added fun.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit Robyn’s Fetish for your freebie! Check out the new Digi Stickers too….they are a HOOT!

Okay so you are probably scratching your head at my blog subject, but it’s true I really do think Valentine’s Day is eewwwy and so unnecessary! I love holidays, but this one has never been a favorite to me. When my hubby met me he was so pumped he would never have to remember to buy me a card, flowers, chocolate and jewelry. I must say, that was awfully nice of me, ey?!?!
BUT…..Now that I have 2 children, I know someday they will both come home asking me what this day is that everyone is referring to at school and that they must bring Valentine’s to school. I don’t want them to be the odd ones out scratching their heads because their Mommy is a V Day Scrooge so….I am SLOWLY allowing the idea of this dumb holiday into my house. I took the first step by joining in a swap online and made this card:

The dog image is a digi stamp from Robyn’s Fetish, I used some Pink Blossom Bazzill paper, XOXO paper and XOXO Bingo card came from Paper Source and the ribbon was left over in my stash. I really like the way it came out and I wanted to post this for Carnival on Craft Critique starting February 12th. They are doing a love themed/Valentine’s Day Carnival this year…so if you are stopping by from there…thanks for dropping in and if you have yet to see Carnival….please be sure to visit!! Craft Critique is one of my favs, the reviews are always so detailed and before I buy anything for my crafts….I go to them first!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Cheers!
