April Showers…May Flowers

May 6th, 2010

A quick little post today to show you something I put together for my Aunt and Uncle as a Thank You.

I made them the clipboard and card using Mo’s Digital Images that I entered into their challenges. I then went and made a bouquet of Gerber Daisies for them to add to their home for decor. I thought it would be a nice add and whenever they look at them, they will know just how thankful I was!

Here ya go….

Thanks for stopping by today, Cheers!

Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge #27-Sketch!

April 17th, 2010

Another week here in Florida and another week for some crafting without my craft desk. I was so excited to see the sketch challenge and instantly got brainstorming! I was also excited to hear the local craft store was back open, I headed down asap! I had so much fun shopping at a new place and could have easily restocked my craft desk there! Instead I stuck to my challenge and came up with this card with my purchase.

I love this image, okay I love all of Mo’s images really! This little guy reminds me of what my little guy will look like in about a year. I colored the image with Copics and those cheapy pencils I told you about last week. I had two pieces of paper to work with and bought 3 buttons…this in itself was a challenge for me…I love button buying!

I am actually going to include the clipboard I made last week with this for a gift of thanks to some special people in our lives.

Hope you all have a fabulous week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheers!

Another Challenge Post…

February 23rd, 2010

Hey there everyone!! I wanted to share my second creation for the 19th Challenge over on Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge Blog with you. It is Clean n Simple this week and I was so excited that I went ahead and made two!!

As I mentioned before we were in Maine all last week and I am in Virginia this week to help out my Mother-In-Law so clean and simple was perfect!

I wanted to make a Thank You for our friend’s Aunt and Uncle who hosted us in Maine. They have the most amazing farmhouse up in Maine and anytime we have a chance to visit…we jump in the car and head North! This past visit Hannah was trying out the horses, Pete and Apache. She was shaking on the first day and by the time we left she was within in 3 feet of them. They are GINORMOUS animals, I can’t blame her for being nervous….but so proud that she got up close! This Summer I am hoping she will want to ride them. Until then I can picture this little girl being Hannah with one of the horses up at Tucker Farm.

I love this “Shire” image!! I scored the bottom and hand wrote “Thank You”….I love this little girl and I had so much fun creating…as always with Mo’s images!

Have a great day!!

Cheers!!
